Welcome from the Local 507 Business Manager

Thank you for visiting our website. I am confident that you will find it informative and helpful.

Laborers' Local 507 was chartered on November 13, 1919, to represent the Laborers in the Long Beach area. Since that time, Local 507 members have gained the reputation as the hardest working and most skilled Laborers in the industry. I am extremely proud of our membership and their contribution to the labor movement and the construction industry. Our members stand in solidarity with other union construction workers throughout Southern California.

This Local Union has an open door policy for all members. I urge our members top contact me or our Business Representatives with any problems, complaints or other matters that you want to discuss. I encourage our members to get involved in the Local Union: attend meetings; read your collective bargaining agreement and Constitution; familiarize yourself with the dispatch procedure; and, if you have questions, please ask us. Stay informed.

This Local union also maintains an open door policy with our signatory contractors who provide work opportunities for our members. We are partners and will do what we can to ensure that our contractors are competetive. We offer a ready pool of highly motivated and skilled workers who are dedicated to giving a fair day's work for a fair day's wage. Our nationally recognized training program ensures that our members continue to possess superior skills in today's industry.

Please brows through our website and find out what Local 507 has to offer our members and the contractors in the Southern California construction industry.
